CRX GT4 STORY　#9

Carlusbad

ここでのレースは面白かった♪

LAより南に１時間の所にあるのが・・・・・モトクロスコースとして有名な・・・・カールスバッドだ。

 The race here was interesting ♪

 One hour south of LA is Carlsbad, famous for its motocross course.

モトクロス・コースの他にドラッグレース用の直線路があり

・・・・・

この直線路部分と・・・・・・ゴール地点からスタート地点まで戻ってくるための・・・細く曲がりくねった

帰路を組み合わせて周回路を作り

・・・・

・・

そのでっち上げた周回路でレースが行われるのだ。

 In addition to the motocross course, there was a strait line for drag racing.

 This straight road section and a narrow  path to returning to starting point were  combined, and create a circuit.

 The race took place on this circuit
. 

(( It was hard to believe that a GT car road race will be held in such a circuit! ))

((The district organizers (all volunteers) would like to have a fun event)) 

 Then, run all participating vehicles from GT1 to GT5 at once on.

このありえないコースでのレースではあったが

・・・・

ひょっとしたら・・・GT1やGT2クラスの車両を差し置いて・・・総合優勝できてしまうのではないか？

と言う目論見があった。

予選でトップを取り

第一コーナーに一番で飛び込めれば

・・・

勝てる筈

！

と言うのも帰路側は細く曲がりくねっていてCRXにとって有利だし

・・・

そもそも前の車をパスするだけの道幅が無いのだ

。

It was a race on this impossible course.

Perhaps ... there was a prospect that CRX could win the overall victory with GT1 or GT2 class cars. 

 We should win if CRX take the top in qualifying and jump into the first corner first

That said, the return side was narrow and winding, which was advantageous for CRX.
And in the first place, there was not enough road to pass the previous car.
